A 6-day journey to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route.” This is the only route that offers hut accommodations, providing a more comfortable trekking experience. The Marangu Route is considered one of the easier paths to the summit, making it popular among climbers. The trail takes you through diverse landscapes, from lush rainforests to alpine deserts, culminating at the peak of Africa’s highest mountain.

Mountain Climbing
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing on your upcoming climb.
After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Mandara Hut. The trail is relatively gentle and offers beautiful scenery.
Continue your ascent through the forest until the landscape changes to moorland. Trek across the open heath towards Horombo Hut, enjoying views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Ascend further into the alpine desert towards Kibo Hut. This day involves a long, steady climb with spectacular views of the summit. Arrive at Kibo Hut for dinner and rest, preparing for the summit attempt.
Begin your summit attempt around midnight, trekking through the darkness to reach Gilman’s Point at sunrise. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
Complete your descent to Marangu Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificates. Transfer back to Arusha for a night of relaxation and celebration of your achievement.
